DESCRIPTION:A time of quiet reflection through Scripture and Music \n  \n \nSister Marie Dunne CHF is a member of the Congregation of the Holy Faith. With a background in education\, chaplaincy and pastoral ministry\, Marie works full time in music\, faith and prayer ministry. For over 30 years she has been a composer of religious/liturgical music. Her music has and continues to be sung and used by a wide number of groups\, both here in Ireland and beyond. She is also involved in choral  music\, directing a number of choirs. Marie currently works with the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God\, both in pastoral ministry and as liturgist. Offers a two-part insight into the architectural highlights of the convent in Glasnevin \nPart One: Duration approx. 30 minutes\, showcases the work of Dublin craftsmen around 1900 when the convent chapel was built. We see the work of sculptors\, picture-framers\, wood-carvers\, stained-glass window artists\, and are let into the subterfuge designed to make the paintings of the Stations of the Cross look older than they were. \nPart Two: is an optional extra for those who have not visited the Georgian building\, built c. 1750.
