Meet the Oak

Thursday, 5 November 2026 | 14:00-15:30pm

FREE – REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL* (This event not suitable for children)

In this joyful workshop with Yamila Fournier, you will meet an oak tree as you never have before.

You’ll learn how it sustained generations and shaped civilization. You’ll learn about the thousands of creatures that depend on it. You’ll learn what it does for us today, and you’ll learn to identify what it needs from you. You’ll leave with oak stories, a new perspective, and a fresh piece of art that you will make in collaboration with the tree.

No previous art skills necessary and all materials will be provided, including foraged iron oak gall ink.
